Children match oral language with print, play with rhyming words, and find repetition. They discover look-alike, and sound-alike words in the printed text. Lessons help them with print concepts, build phonemic awareness, and develop fluent reading. Songs focus on essential English vocabulary: clothes and colors (Mary Wore Her Red Dress), parts of the body (Looby Loo), numbers (This Old Man), rhyming words (Down by the Bay), etc. Children will create their very own read along song book, which they can take home and read, or sing to their families.
